Independant project from new African American lesbian fiction arthur Jette Leslie Between The Divide feels authentic as it is captivating.   Shown from a perspective not often seen on this level.        Narrative follows the twisting path of a curious headstrong individual who has to learn about coming of age, along with facing indentity conflicts brought on by the trials of family, life issues and love aches.  Instilled expectations of society too difficult to fit much less fulfill , the story captures their perpetual struggle for validation.            Growth from conquering ever evolving experiences eventually guides the main character to establish their rightful place, while achieving contentment within and appreciating self worth.             A tale hopefully meant to inspire as well as educate others in their gender exploration to believe who they are as created is enough, whatever the circumstances.        Please be advised this written word is meant for a mature audience, 18 years old and above is suggested.
